How Simple Scheduler uses cookies and similar tracking technologies.

LAST UPDATED ·

Plain-English summary

This page explains how Simple Scheduler uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our marketing site and inside the product workspace. The legally binding document is published below by Termly. The summary that follows is informational; where it conflicts with the full document, the full document controls.

Strictly necessary

Session cookies that let you stay signed in, CSRF tokens that protect form submissions, and a small set of preference cookies (theme, language) that remember choices you make. These cannot be disabled because the platform stops working without them. They expire when you sign out or after a fixed window of inactivity. We do not need consent for strictly necessary cookies under any privacy law we are aware of.

Functional

Cookies that remember dispatch board layout, calendar view preferences, recently used services, and crew filters. They make the workspace faster but the platform works without them. We treat these as opt-in for users in jurisdictions where the law requires explicit consent for non-essential cookies.

Analytics

Aggregated usage analytics from Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which collect anonymized page-view counts and Core Web Vitals to help us improve performance. No per-user behavioral tracking, no third-party cross-site identifiers, no ad-network cookies. Analytics cookies are opt-in where the law requires consent.

Marketing

We do not run marketing or advertising cookies on the production platform. The marketing site may set a single first-party visitor-recognition cookie if a sales team member is looking at a specific demo flow with you; that cookie carries no behavioral profile and expires after 30 days.

Your choices

You can change your cookie preferences at any time from the cookie banner that appears on first visit, from the cookie-preferences link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Refusing functional or analytics cookies does not lock you out of the platform; it only disables the convenience features they enable. Refusing strictly necessary cookies will sign you out of the workspace.
