Why we price per workspace, not per user

Most field service tools charge per user. Add an owner, a dispatcher, a bookkeeper, and a weekend office helper and the monthly bill jumps four times. That model rewards keeping the back office artificially lean and punishes the most predictable kind of growth a service business goes through: more office staff over time. We picked the other direction. Simple Scheduler bills per workspace. Office users (owners, dispatchers, bookkeepers, admins) do not count against the price at any tier. You pay for the field team that actually generates revenue, and the office side stays unmetered.

The trade-off is that our entry price is not the lowest on paper for a solo operator running one truck. Tools that bill $29 for one user can beat us at that volume. As soon as you add a second crew, a dispatcher, or a bookkeeper, the math turns. By the time you have five field crews and three office staff, per-tenant pricing is dramatically cheaper than per-user pricing, and it stays cheaper as the office grows.

What is included at every tier

All plans ship with the full feature surface: drag-and-drop calendar, online customer booking, recurring rotations with eight built-in frequencies, route-aware crew dispatch, a mobile crew app on every device, the branded customer portal, Stripe-powered card and ACH payments, autopay for recurring customers, QuickBooks Online reconciliation, and the report library tuned for service-business operators. We do not gate features by tier; the differences between tiers are about scale (crew count, automation cadence, support SLA) and not about access to core functionality.

Free trial, no card required

Every plan starts with a free trial that gives you the full feature surface without capturing a card. Spin up a workspace, import a sample of your customer list, run a dispatched day, and decide. We do not capture a card until you decide to continue, and we do not auto-convert the trial.

Annual billing and discounts

Annual billing is available on every plan at a meaningful discount versus monthly. The annual amount is billed upfront on a single invoice; you can cancel at any time and we prorate the unused months on a refund. We do not raise renewal prices on existing workspaces without 90 days of written notice, and the price you sign up at is the price you renew at unless we have explicitly notified you of a change.
